ACLU brand identity

After nearly a century of groundbreaking legal work, the ACLU wanted a new brand identity that would help it speak as effectively on social media and at protests as in court.

Every choice we made celebrates the diverse perspectives, personalities, and passions of the ACLU’s movement. And everything—from logos to colors to the format of the ACLU Design Handbook itself—is understandable and usable by anyone, no matter their expertise.
